i do have a friend who is himself a very good person and likes and supports pat robertson, so all apologies to him, but, to paraphrase lewis black: "in the crazy race...robertson lapped himself"

It's true. I have liked and supported some of the things that Pat Robertson has said and done, or at least given him his voice and considered that they may be valid. However, assassinating a foreign leader is not among those things. I am not his "follower". I am Jesus' follower. And I don't think he ever said, "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. *whispers to select few* Or, at least, kill them softly and quietly while saying that." (Note: I am not saying that Chavez is an enemy or persecutor. My political knowledge is nowhere near enough to make such an assumption.) So, no apologies necessary, Balzer. Peace to you.
