I'm sure every blog in the world has better one-liners for this than I do; that's fine. I'm not really in a one liner mood anyway. I'm more in a Daily Show like mood, where you just show the thing you want to make fun of and let it make fun of itself. Without further ado:

I really love the non-sequiturs in stories like this:
"Nowak, a Navy Captain, is accused of accosting Air Force Capt. Colleen Shipman, 30, in the parking lot of Orlando International Airport early Monday and spraying her with pepper spray. She told police she only wanted to talk with Shipman. (Watch what it takes to become an astronaut - Video)"
And then there are the details, turned adorably astronaut-appropriate:
"According to the arresting affidavits, Nowak drove from Houston to Orlando after discovering Shipman's flight plans on Oefelein's computer."
I can just hear this conversation: "I can't believe I found that bitch's flight plan on your Macbook! You never put my flight plan on your laptop!"
I don't know any astronauts, but I'm sure that it's not normal to be carrying "a tan trench coat, a new steel mallet, a new folding knife with a 4-inch blade, 3 to 4 feet of rubber tubing, several large plastic garbage bags and about $600 in cash" -- I don't know any physicists with $600. In cash.
