ten west

i already sketchgasmed about one of the groups we're playing with this weekend (seattle's uber-awesome flaming box of stuff), and i wanted to take a moment to say how freaking great ten west is. those of you we know on a personal basis known how much we love vaudeville and physical comedy, and if you've seen a show, you know we always have a strong silent component. well ten west takes this to the next level. their show is basically a clowning show, in the most artistic sense of the word. they make great use of their bodies, and basically take all that was great about vaudeville and wrap it up in a flawless presentation. comedy geeks love them because they're dripping with history, and everyone else loves them because that kind of comedy is very accessible, even though no one does it anymore. our show with ten west is on saturday at 10, and you can buy tickets here.
