i was reading up on the beach boys on wikipedia when i saw something that nearly killed me. did everyone know that john stamos is/was a part-time touring drummer for the beach boys? this was common knowledge? i don't understand...

do you remember the episode where the beach boys (including, i think, brian wilson) showed up at the tanner house and sang kokomo? now, it makes sense. and now, it hurts so much more.

also, the beach boys famously recorded "wipe out" with the fat boys, despite the fact that "wipe out" was a surfaris song- one that the beach boys had never in fact recorded.
